BUBBLE GUM DOLPHINS
August 16 2013 – Delikate Rayne
From the cotton candy colored waters of the world to these sacred creatures-you can't escape the essence of pink. Mother Nature was definitely thinking pink when she created nature's version of the pink power ranger. Clearly she has a sense of a humor though, as most dolphin males are pink while females are found to be gray. The delightful river amazon dolphins sport a cotton candy colored hue naturally. Find these sadly endangered, magical beasts in freshwater only. It is found throughout much of the Amazon and Orinoco river basins in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, and Venezuela.
Fascinated by these fashionable pink beings? Let's make sure they stick around...If you want to keep the pink in the wild, adopt a pink amazon dolphin. Help keep pink alive!
